England manager Gareth Southgate has confirmed Luke Shaw will not be available for Thursday night’s clash with Denmark football.

The Three Lions boss said Shaw trained separately from the rest of the squad on Wednesday. And confirmed the Manchester United left-back will not be rushed back into action.UFABET

Southgate said: “Luke will not be involved tomorrow (Thursday). He is on track with what we thought he would be doing from the start. And He has to work a little bit more, he has days where he has to do more than the rest and recover.

“He still trains separately from the rest and runs his own programme,”

Southgate was ask about the remarks and said Shaw was progressing well. “Luke is obviously an outstanding player. That’s why we decided to call him up even though he hasn’t played a lot.”

“I don’t want to put a timeline on it right now. He’s progressing well,”

“The balance he brings, the drive he has, whoever plays with him on that side of the pitch. He gives a different solution. We’re adapting to not having him and we have to find a different way.”
