Former Napoli midfielder Roberto Bordin has hailed Scott McTominay as a “fantastic signing” for the club.

The Scotland midfielder joined the club from Manchester United for £25.7million in the summer transfer window and has impressed, scoring two goals and providing two assists in nine Serie A appearances this season, most recently netting in the 1-1 draw at Inter Milan.
Antonio Conte, who is known for using a ‘three centre-back’ system, has also switched to a ‘four at the back’ after McTominay arrived, while Bordin has hailed this as a ‘stellar’ signing for Napoli.
“It’s impossible for Napoli to do this without players with this skill,” Bordin told Radio Marte on TMW.
“He has a combination of quantity and quality, he is strong in the tackle without being ugly. He helps the team in the attack, he makes runs and scores goals. It is a great signing for Napoli.”
McTominay joined the Partenopei in a €30m deal from Manchester United last summer. And his contract at the Stadio Maradona expires in June 2028.
Napoli are the current Serie A table leaders. With one point UFABET clear of Inter, Atalanta, Fiorentina, and Lazio, and two points above Juventus.
The Scotland international joined the 2022/23 Serie A winners in a deal worth £25.7m in August, bringing a 22-year association with United to an end.
